LEDG (for Lattice Evolver Data-File Generator) is a tool for automating the creation of certain classes of ^ Brakke Surface Evolver input data files. Instead of requiring the user to painstakingly create a consistent set of enter vertex, edge, face, and body lists; LEDG merely asks the user to assign states to the cells of a three-dimensional lattice. LEDG then finds all the lattice faces which separate cells of different states, and uses this information to construct the complete vertex, edge, face, and body lists, and applicable constraints. Only objects on the lattice exterior are constrained. In addition to bounded rectangular lattices, LEDG also supports torus domains, and skewed lattice geometry.
