  Symposium on Global Warming: From Global Predictions to Local Action
This symposium addressed the problems and research necessary to translate these global, long-term predictions into local predictions on shorter scales of time, where governments and businesses can act; and addressed the implications for industry and public policy now. There was a follow-up scientific symposium on April 12-13 at MSRI.

The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute of Berkeley put a series of puzzles on Muni buses in San Francisco, one puzzle a month from October to February 2005. This is an archive of all the puzzles used during this project to bring mathematical awareness to the masses.
