|
MSRI invites the public to attend a FREE event at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 16, 2005, with writers from The Simpsons and Futurama—David X. Cohen, Ken Keeler, and Jeff Westbrook—who all have backgrounds and advanced degrees in either mathematics or computer science, and moderator Sarah J. Greenwald. The freewheeling conversation takes place in the Valley Life Sciences Building's Chan Shun Auditorium (Rm. 2050) at UC Berkeley. The program, sponsored by MSRI, will run 2:00-3:30 PM. Due to an unforeseen family emergency, David Cohen will be unable to join the panel.
