The Art of Problem Solving

Mathematics teachers are invited to a day of problem solving with Paul Zeitz, author of The Art and Craft of Problem Solving. Explore the beauty of mathematics. Rediscover the fun of problem solving, and the joy of playing with mathematics. This workshop will energize you while introducing problem solving techniques that can be taught to students. In addition, you will learn about MSRI, and its resources and programs available to high schools. This event takes place on Friday, February 24, 2006 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute in Berkeley, CA.
