Quadratic nonlinear wave equations

Abstract:
I will discuss the current state of the art of the local well-posedness theory for these equations, which will be followed by a presentation of new results addressing the case of equations with variable coefficients.
Some of these new results were obtained jointly with Daniel Tataru.
