The volumes in the MSRI Publications series, published by Cambridge University Press, are fully accessible through downloadable files (starting with books published in 1995).

Videotapes can be ordered (please see Order Form link below) from many of MSRI’s acclaimed special events and MSRI-produced films, including: porridge pulleys and Pi (2004); the Tom Stoppard in conversation with Robert Osserman event, Mathematics in Arcadia (1999); Galileo – A Dialog on Science, Mathematics, History and Drama (1999); and the FermatFest (1993).

To purchase Funny Numbers: An Evening with Steve Martin in Conversation with Bob Osserman, a hilarious, freewheeling interview from MSRI’s sold-out benefit in December 2002, please order through our exclusive distributor, the American Mathematical Society (AMS). Please click here to place your order at the AMS Bookstore.

While MSRI does not accept orders online, we do provide an order form for you to print out and mail along with your payment.

Almost all of the many Lectures in Workshops that are held at MSRI are captured on streaming video, and are available, along with lecture notes or slides, in Real Video format in our Streaming Video archive. The archive also contains material from other organizations, and information about using this media for publishing scientific talks.

CD-ROMs and Videotapes of some highly acclaimed MSRI-sponsored special events, including things not available on the web, are for sale.

The volumes in our book series, published by Cambridge University Press, are available in full on the web (starting with 1995 publications). As a service to the mathematical community we also provide Thurston's notes on the Geometry and Topology of Three-Manifolds.

The Emissary is the newsletter of the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute. It contains in-depth articles on various MSRI activities, as well as announcements of upcoming events.
