Summary:

The previous methods (e.g. ISOmap and LLE) are used to discover the structure of data lying on manifolds in high dimensional space. She discussed some of the weaknesses of these techniques, and proposed new improvements- Hessian LLE. Also, certain classes of image databases are analyzed to compare HLLE with other methods.
