Summary: |
V1 responses to natural movie stimuli, sparse noise stimuli, and dense noise stimuli have been recorded using either Tungsten electrodes or silicon tetrodes. Responses are very sparse. Temporal precision is distributed and some events have variations in latency of 5 ms or less. Joint responses occur more often than expected by chance. Nearby cells often have very different response properties.
