Feature tuning of V4 has been analyzed. Receptive field have been estimated using linearized reverse correlation. Spatial and feature attention evoke significant modulation in most v4 neurons. Attention can modulate firing rate response gain and more complex tuning properties. Shifts in tuning peak, width and profile are common.
