Summary: |
Temporal coding in V1 in response to moving sine grating stimulus have been analyzed. First and second order kernel together predict the response of most neurons well. Bayesian predictive inference of the visual signal using the
linear kernel doesn't work very well and can be improved using the second order kernel. A model for V1 as a visual high resolution buffer has been introduced. Several electro-physiological and psychophysical experiments have been discussed. |
