Abstract:

I will discuss recent progress in the study of asymptotic properties of a class of randomly forced PDE, where the force is proportional to the square root of the dissipation. The class contains, for example, the randomly forced 2D Navier-Stokes equation and the forced-driven KdV equation. The latter equation will be the main object of my talk.
