Math + Music = Piano Concert at 5:30pm @MSRI March 15, 2007 All Day
Description Please join MSRI on Thursday, March 15 at 5:30 to 6:30pm for a free Math + Music concert with performances by pianists Daniel Walden, Nathan Splitter, Preben Antonsen and Bethany Wang, who are students of Sharon Mann, a member of the faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music (www.sfcm.edu). Free admission.

Parking: Please note that parking in the lot between MSRI and the Space Sciences Lab is available free starting at 5:00 PM on weekdays (FYI: parking before 5pm may result in a UCB parking ticket). The lot is reached from Centennial Drive by turning onto the "Gauss Way" access road that leads to MSRI / SSL -- see the link provided below for directions to the Institute. Disabled parking spaces are located adjacent to the entrance to MSRI's Chern Hall. Otherwise, parking in the Institute's terraced hillside lot (accessed directly off Centennial Drive) requires a Parking Permit, which will be available and posted at the beginning of the stairway leading up 95+ steps to the MSRI building.

Public Transportation: On weekdays the H-line Bus -- with stops on the UCB campus -- arrives at MSRI / SSL at 4:55 PM as well as 5:25 PM. Its last departure from MSRI / SSL is at 7:15 PM, stopping on the UCB campus and downtown Berkeley BART. For the complete schedule, please see:
