|Sylvie Corteel is a research director at CNRS, France. She works at the Universite Paris-Diderot (Paris 7). Her research interests lie in enumerative and algebraic combinatorics; with connections to geometry and physics. She is also one of the editors in chief of JCTA and has published more than 60 papers in international journals. She already visited Berkeley several times thanks to the France Berkeley fund and collaborations with Lauren Williams. In the Spring 2018, she will be a Miller Visiting Professor in the Mathematics department at UC Berkeley.
