CNCS DELIBERATIVE COUNCIL Meeting #50/2004 - Disciplinary November 26, 2004 at 17:30 hours Present: Barney Louderback Colin Collins Etacir Manske Marcio Melo 1. Constantino Eta mentioned that he has learned from member Cláudia that, from the 37 checks offered as payment for her cabin by «Tonico» (Constantino) only one could be cashed, and all the others bounced. That the phone number and address he gave have not been working and Cláudia has concluded that they are bogus. Eta suggested to Cláudia that she take the matter to the Council in order that steps could be taken to regularize the situation one way or another. She should bring with her all documentation such as checks, the contract etc. When the Council sets a date it will hold an ad-hoc meeting to hear Cláudia out. 2. Letters from Kelli and Zumbi The attachments to the Business Concession Contracts for the restaurant and the market were read out. Regarding letter #1: This was read out as requested in its last paragraph. Response to letter #2: The Council has determined that the market concession holder is not breaking the terms of attachment I of his contract; also that the market is not engaging in unfair competition against the restaurant by holding barbecues, since these are community events among friends (nothing is charged for any service) of the type that occurs elsewhere in Colina including the campground. In view of the complaint the CNCS Deliberative Council will monitor the business concessions to enforce the terms of their contracts. The Council requests that all business concession holders follow the norms of Attachment I, not breaking any of its clauses, to avoid complaints from other concession holders and Club members.
