Inverse Problems August 13, 2001 to December 14, 2001
Organizers D. Colton, J. McLaughlin, W. Symes and G. Uhlmann
Description In the last twenty years or so there have been substantial developments in the mathematical theory of inverse problems, and applications have arisen in many areas, ranging from geophysics to medical imaging to non-destructive evaluation of materials. The main topics of this program will be developments in inverse boundary value problems, and inverse scattering problems. There will be an Introductory Workshop in Inverse Problems and Integral Geometry August 13-24
