- Noncommutative neighborhoods and noncommutative Fourier transform
We will discuss the formalism of noncommutative formal neigborhoods of ordinary algebraic varieties and schemes, with special emphasis on the condition of smoothness. These concepts have a significance for a conjectural "noncommutative Fourier transform" which should identify a certain space of noncommutative functions of n variables with a certain space of usual functions on the space of paths in R^n.
