<BODY> MSRI Streaming Video Series <BR> Mikhail Kapranov - Noncommutative neighborhoods and noncommutative Fourier transform <BR> We will discuss the formalism of noncommutative formal neigborhoods of ordinary algebraic varieties and schemes, with special emphasis on the condition of smoothness. These concepts have a significance for a conjectural "noncommutative Fourier transform" which should identify a certain space of noncommutative functions of n variables with a certain space of usual functions on the space of paths in R^n. </BODY>
