To view compressed postscript with Windows we recommend using GSview 2.2, which can automatically read compressed files. Note that versions prior to 2.2 cannot handle compressed files.
GSview is a free postscript viewer for Windows, based on the Ghostscript interpreter. It supports full-text searching and hyperlinks. It is freely available software.
GSview is available for Windows 3.1, Windows 95, Windows NT and OS/2.
You may want to tweak the GSview Media - Display Settings to improve the display of the text. You can also change the window size to fit the page. Use the Options - Save Settings Now command to make any changes permanent. Finally, if all of this turns out to be a miserable failure, change from Windows to some other operating system.
