Streaming Video

In order to view these lectures, you will need the RealPlayer version 7.0 or later.. For some of the latest videos from our and other organizations, you will need the latest RealPlayer 8.0. These are available free from RealNetworks. Currently, the 8.0 version is available for Windows 95/98/NT, Mac OS (Classic) and MacOSX and (in beta) for Linux. The 7.0 version of RealPlayer is available for the following platforms: Windows9x , Me and 2k, IRIX 6.X, Solaris 2.5 or greater and Linux 2.x. It can be downloaded from RealNetworks. Other platforms may be supported in the future. (The free RealPlayer expires periodically. You can download a new version. An enhanced application, RealPlayer Plus, is available for the Windows and Macintosh Power PC platforms for $29.95.) NB You do not need the enhanced version. Also, the location of the free version within the RealNetworks web site is ever-changing and often obscure; with perseverance, you will find it. It is assumed that you are connected to the Internet via a Local Area Network---not by a 28.8kb phone modem. Furthermore, since the audio of the lecture is an important component, you will need a sound card. For that reason, RealPlayer will not work on an X-terminal. Click on the triangle icons to expand/contract the list.
A Boolean "and" between words is assumed; that is, documents will be retrieved that have all the specified words. If you wish to find all the documents that have any word, then use "or" between your search words. To truncate a word, use an asterisk (*) at the end. For example, the search "comput*" would retrieve documents that have the words "computer", "computing", "computation", etc.
