An Example of the Hodge Conjecture - I will introduce the general Hodge conjecture. Then I will explain the example of the primitive cohomology of the theta divisor of a principally polarized abelian variety. The conjecture should be true in this case for low dimensions and I will give the outline of a possible proof for abelian fivefolds (work in progress with Csilla Tamas).
