Resolutions over complete intersections and Golod rings.

Abstract: I will explain bar/cobar duality and how to use it to study resolutions over local rings. For complete intersections, one can replace the bar coalgebra by the symmetric coalgebra, and this leads directly to the graded matrix factorizations. But also the machinery applies more generally: it can, for instance, construct the minimal resolution of a module over a Golod ring in a finite number of steps.
