Abstract/Media

I'll actually give some indication of what ring spectra are. I'll talk about lax symmetric monoidal functors, which are the bread and butter for producing ring spectra. Then I'll talk about the Tate Diagonal a la Nikolaus-Scholze to recap Kirill's talk and give a punchline about why spectra are cool.
