Sugar Land teen heads to China for math competition
A Sugar Land teen is headed to China to represent the United States in an international math competition.
Tiffany Wu, a junior at Clements High School, earned top scores in math to earn a spot on the U.S. team for the Girls Math Olympiad.
Wu arrived in China with the rest of her teammates on Thursday.
The competition will be held from Sunday, July 31 through Wednesday, August 3 in Shenzhen, a major port city near Hong Kong.
