2013 Mathematical Institutes Open House – MPE2013 US Launch
You are warmly invited to the Mathematical Institutes Open House and MPE2013 US Launch at the 2013 Joint Mathematics Meetings in San Diego. The event will celebrate the launch in the United States of activities throughout the year that are part of a worldwide initiative, the Mathematics of Planet Earth (MPE) 2013. Representatives of the sponsoring institutes will be on hand to tell you about some of their exciting upcoming plans for their mathematics programs, including MPE2013. Come and check out the opportunities for you to participate in research activities at these 14 institutes located throughout North America.

The Open House reception precedes the AMS Josiah Willard Gibbs Lecture by Cédric Villani at 8:30 p.m (Room 6AB, Upper Level, San Diego Convention Center).
