The international competition is taking place in the southern coastal city of Xiamen in the Fujian Province. Carolyn Kim of Tallahassee is part of the team sponsored by the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute of Berkeley, Calif. Kim was chosen from the top ranks of female finalists in the 2009 USA Mathematical Olympiad. |
