Abstract:A linear system of higher rank is a Grassmannian that arises from a globally generated vector bundle on an algebraic variety. I'll extend this construction to the case of more than one vector bundle and I'll describe the derived category of the resulting spaces. The basic notion at the heart (or core) of this talk is that of quiver representations.
