| Abstract: | For every semisimple group G over a discretely valued field, there is a polysimplicial complex with a continuous action by G, the so-called Bruhat-Tits building. It can be regarded as a non-Archimedean analogue of a Riemann symmetric space. We show how this building can be embedded in the analytic Berkovich space associated to G and discuss some applications. |
