| Abstract: | Abstract: I'll discuss a general approach for constructing braid group actions (and subsequently knot homologies). This can be used to define knot homologies via algebro-geometric methods but I don't know yet of any applications in symplectic geometry (although mirror symmetry suggests there ought to be). |
