| Abstract: | I am going to discuss determinantal and Pfaffian point processes of random matrix type arising in the the harmonic analysis on the infinite symmetric group. These point processes are defined by probability measures on the Thoma set, and are associated with spherical representations of certain Gelfand pairs. I will review some known results for such determinantal point processes, and will present new explicit formulas for the correlation functions of Pfaffian point processes. |
