Geometric Analysis
Dec 1, 2003 to Dec 5, 2003

Organizer(s)

Ben Chow, Peter Li, Richard Schoen (chair), and Richard
Wentworth
To apply for funding, you must register by Mon, Aug 11 2003.
This workshop will focus on PDE methods in Differential Geometry and the wide range of applications which these methods are having in the field. Topics will include geometric variational problems, evolution equations, and analysis on Riemannian manifolds. In particular, emphasis will be on subjects such as minimal submanifolds, special Lagrangian submanifolds, harmonic maps, mean curvature flow, Ricci flow, and function theory on complete manifolds. Other PDEs arise from geometric considerations will also be included.
