Fluid Mechanics, Hamiltonian Dynamics, and Numerical Aspects of Optimal Transportation
Oct 14, 2013 to Oct 18, 2013

Organizer(s)

Yann Brenier (CNRS, Universit'e de Nice), Michael Cullen (Met Office at Exeter UK), Wilfrid Gangbo* (Georgia Institute of Technology) and Allen Tannenbaum (Georgia Institute of Technology)
To apply for funding, you must register by Wed, May 15 2013.

The workshop will be devoted to emerging approaches to fluid mechanical, geophysical and kinetic theoretical flows based on optimal transportation. It will also explore numerical approaches to optimal transportation problems.

Accommodation:

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Rose Garden Inn. Reservations may be made by calling 1-800-992-9005 OR directly on their website. Click on Corporate at the bottom of the screen and when prompted enter code MATH (this code is not case sensitive).
