Pavel Etingof received a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics at the Moscow Oil and Gas institute in 1989, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics at Yale University in 1994. He was a Benjamin Peirce Instructor at Harvard University in 1994-1999 and Associate Professor of Mathematics at Columbia University in 2000-2001. He has been on the faculty of the Department of Mathematics at MIT since 1998, and is a Full Professor since 2005. |
