Application of Riemann-Hilbert Problems in Modelling of Cavitating Flow October 19, 2010
Parent Program: --
Location: MSRI: Simons Auditorium
Speaker(s) Anna Zemlyanova (Kansas State University)
Description
Abstract: In this talk I will consider a problem for a supercavitating wedge under a
free surface with the Tulin single-spiral-vortex cavity closure condition.
The mechanical problem will be reduced to two Riemann-Hilbert problems on
an elliptic Riemann surface. The solution of these problems will be discussed.
The numerical results will be presented.
