2020 Activity and Workshop Updates (COVID-19 Coronavirus)

image of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

Due to social distancing actions, the MSRI building will be closed to all visitors through at least Aug 1, 2020. During this time, all activities will take place online, and staff are working remotely. Once MSRI reopens, we will have a strong online presence so that those who can’t attend in person can participate.

These changes are being made on a case-by-case basis, and may include the cancellation of on-site activities in favor of fully online webinar presentations or video recordings, updates or changes to scheduled talks, or delays to scheduled events.

MSRI staff will be in touch with all registered participants in the affected workshops and programs via email.

We recognize that the timing of our decisions may significantly inconvenience many of you. MSRI is working closely with workshop organizers and sponsoring agencies to provide answers about reimbursements, cancellations, and provide supporting documentation for your institution.

You can monitor this page, which will be updated on a rolling basis as changes are announced.
