This workshop will present basic notions from Commutative Algebra and Cluster Algebras, with a particular focus on providing background material. Additionally, the workshop aims to encourage and facilitate the exchange of ideas between researchers in Commutative Algebra and researchers in Cluster Algebras.Accommodation:A block of rooms has been reserved at the Rose Garden Inn. By using this code a new calendar will appear and will show MSRI rate on all room types available. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Hotel Durant. The cut-off date for reservations is Midnight on the day of Monday, July 30, 2012. The rate is $120 per night plus tax.
