Its members share an understanding of the vitality and enrichment that mathematics brings to our lives as scholars, business people, and citizens—as well as to the health and welfare of our world.
The Archimedes Society was established in 2001 to assist MSRI in achieving its annual fundraising goals. All members receive a set of greeting cards featuring legendary mathematicians‚ a digital copy of MSRI's biannual Emissary newsletter and recognition in the spring issue, and an invitation to a reception during the annual Joint Mathematics Meeting.
