Description

This workshop introduces graduate students and other scientists to the exciting area of Operator Algebras. It will feature three series of introductory lectures and a number of one-hour lectures on recent research topics followed by informal discussions. The main lecture series will be: Richard V. Kadison: The Theory of Operator Algebras - A Survey Mihai Pimsner: Introduction to K-theory for Operator Algebras Antony Wassermann/Valerio Toledano Laredo: Operator Algebras and Conformal Field Theory In addition, Fields Medalist Vaughan Jones will present several introductory lectures.

Funding & Logistics

## Show Funding

To apply for funding, you must register by the funding application deadline displayed above.

Students, recent Ph.D.'s, women, and members of underrepresented minorities are particularly encouraged to apply. Funding awards are typically made 6 weeks before the workshop begins. Requests received after the funding deadline are considered only if additional funds become available.
